I view this 'droid' forum as a community within a community... and I have no interest on this particular board outside of this innner community. So, when I see a deal I find interesting I post it in the section where the people within my community will see it. The people outside of this community can fend for themselves. If you don't like it, hit the back button.

What does it have to do with the droid? Um, think the droid has bluetooth, check. Droid plays music that not everyone around you wants to hear, check. Droid users might use bluetooth or listen to music and not want to pay $99 retail price, check.

    It is relevant, check.

Seriously, check out all the threads on bluetooth keyboards, music, etc... some people are looking to expand their droids beyond stock options, settings, and equipment.

Yea, I see this is as relevent. Now, if I only had 44 bucks.

I actually had these a year or so ago (cost more than 44 then) with my Tilt. Good pair of headphones. I took them back for Orange Box :p

What makes this the "David Beckham" edition? Lol, I mean, wtf does that even mean.

Anyways, I can recommend these BT headphones. I got mine over a year ago for $36 (sniped an auction on eBay).

Still, I don't think $45 is too bad a price on these.

Never tried the HD version, but I can only imagine they sound pretty nice.

I am probably gonna opt for the HD version - specs are nearly identical, but the better sound output wins me every time.

If I could afford the Beats by DRE I would, but that is a bit ... expensive....

That's my bad. I thought you were talking about the Moto ROKR phone, now I see.

Which is better this or the ROKR S305 for $25 from Verizon?

This. And the HD is better than this.

And not worth it, if you ask me. There are so many better headphones out there for their price. The Beats are just overly bassy and sound muddled. For headphones in that price range, you should look into actual high-quality brands; Sennheiser, Grado, Audio-Technica, etc.

Lurking on Head-Fi sometimes helps you make good headphones choices. And you get to read comments from the headphone-equivalents of phony wine connoisseurs! :D

I was joking, sorry - I am usually so acerbic that sarcasm drips from most of my posts - I figured it would from those as well....

If I pay that much for headphones, I better 1) Already own my Nissan GT-R, an 2) Better be able to discern marked differences in audio at 320 bitrate (which I cannot do as of now, but 256 I can).

I'm interested in some bluetooth headphones. However, my main use for them would be while excercising, and reading the reviews on these, they are getting a lot of complaints not being able to hold up to sweat, and bumping around a lot during running. Can anyone who owns these tell me if you work out with them and how they hold up? Also, does anyone by chance have a suggestion for some BT headphones that would be better for when running/working out? Thanks!

If you read one of the reviews, the person who mentions the HD version says he uses it specifically while working out....

@$20-25 more, it may be worth it to look at that version instead.

Heh, I'm still not catching it. Oh well. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I tend to fly into a mad rage when anyone mentions the Beats. Before they came out, I thought there was nothing worse you could do than use the headphones that come with iPods. Now I stand horribly corrected. :D

And yeah, unfortunately, cause of diminishing returns, you'd probably have to pay a lot to be able to tell differences at 320 compared to lossless. Most people agree that 320 is virtually transparent.

I picked up a set of Rocketfish Bluetooth headphones from techforless. I paid $10 for them. They were used but are way better than my S9s. I had a problem with sweat gettin in my ears and shorting out one of the ear buds. This grand is way better for people who workout hard.

True, but there are just as many reviews saying that the HD versions included, do not stand up to sweat. And anyways, I really can't afford the $20 extra. Really I can't afford the $44.99, but I was trying to talk myself into it. But BT aren't a necessity, I would probably get some if there was a nice pair on sale for like $30. (a pair that could take sweat)

I love using my Beats on this phone, when I'm at home or doing somethin I throw them on works good for me...

And you can discern the difference between songs when using the headphones too, that's if you how to spot ranges of quality for the music

Depends. In ear S9's will have a little better sound because of the isolation. But if you're active, the S305's work better IMO. They have much better weight distribution, and the in-ear style tends to rub my ears raw from bouncing around. No such problem with over-the-ear designs. I mountainbike, so it's like holding a jackhammer. If you're just listening to them on the way to class or something, the S9 might be the win, since the bouncing isn't an issue.
