I just got a new HTC Hero phone and like it alot. However, can't seem to be able to find a solution to this problem and hoping you can help.

I know you can set the screen timeout setting anywhere from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. However, I use this phone for business and my company requires we have a password and cannot leave the phone on for more than 30 minutes.

However, when I set the screen timeout for the 30 minutes, that means the screen stays on and eats my battery life which I understand is already an issue. If I set the screen timeout for 60 seconds, I am constantly having to log back in using the password.

Any one have a suggestion or solution other than changing jobs!!

i am not sure..sipmly remove the password and enable it when required......

important to note... do not flash your radio unless you know whether your phone is a gsm or cdma .... if you flash the wrong one...its gonna brick your phone...i mean your phone dies..you cannot use it anymore....
