New Razr i, few questions

Hi guys, first time poster.

I picked up my Razr i last night and so far quite pleased with it. I have a couple of questions though.
I cannot for the life of me work out, when texting how to use the traditional phone keypad instead of the qwerty keyboard. It's running 4.1.

Also I have yet to see my notification LED work....any ideas?

You must have history with older phones. The RAZR uses a different keyboard and you will get use to it. I looked at a manual and could not find a led. There is an app called noled that should fix you right up. Best of a bad situation

Many thanks for taking the time to reply. Didn't think my HTC Sensation was so outdated now, I'll have to get used the keyboard (fat thumbs though lol)

I did see a glimpse of a green LED earlier but thats it...hmmm strange

i downloaded perfect keyboard app to mine its free-cant get on with qwerty one

gives u a choice of a the traditional keypad or qwerty with predictive text
