Root New Rezound, just rooted questions...

. What about custom roms and freezing apps?

what about them?

you can certianly do both, tho if you stick with an s-on device, rom installs will be a little trickier with a permanent mounted recovery,as you will need to install the kernel(boot image) seperately when you flash a new rom,or restore a backup.

best bit of advice i can give for rom installs is this:

*always launch your recovery from fastboot using the fastboot boot command, even if you choose to also keep a permanent recovery on the phone. this will let you flash roms that are designed for the s-off crowd to flash the kernel from recovery. this will flash the rom just like an s-off phone,as it will install the kernel. it will make your life immensely easier :)

as for app freezing, anything you have frozen will need re-frozen after an OTA,just like the root files will need re-flashed. not too big a deal.
