New Swype Version Now Availalbe

Yeah I've done that but then I get the "this version isn't supported for your device" or similar. When I reboot it doesn't work at all.

I've uninstalled it for now, it's driving me up the wall.
This symptom always seems to require a reinstall. You need to make sure that you remove both Swype and the Swype installer. It's generally best to reboot before downloading the latest installer and reinstalling. See the Swype beta forums for details. The beta manager has detailed the process there.
