Just wanted to drop in and say hello, I just got my first Android phone a couple weeks ago and so far am pretty impressed with all the things it can do.

I'm a Sprint User and am currently using the new LG Optimus S that came out of the box with 2.2 Froyo. I had no problem rooting the handset with Z4Root and removing allot of the Sprint Bloat with Titanium Backup. So far I haven't gotten the wireless tether to work for root users, but it's not very high on my to-do list as I don't want Sprint to bring down the hammer on me and up my bill $30 bucks a month for the official "Tethering Service".

Any suggestions to make my Android experience even more enjoyable would be appreciated. All I have left to say is that it's good to be here!

*Edit - Scratch that part about tethering not working, just found a thread on getting it to work with the "Quick Settings" app. I knew this would be a good forum to hang out in!
