New To Epic 4G

I just got my Epic on Friday (work phone) and am loving it so far... right now I am on the fence about rooting it. It is working so good out of the box.
Exchange Activesync is so nice to the battery on this phone.

I guess I am just used to my Eris... where you have to root it and tweak it to get it to work fast and reliable..

Bass, did your IT guys have to enable ActiveSync in Exchange for your account? Did they have to do anything on your phone?

I just got the Epic. How do you know you have activesync? when you create an account, the Exchange option is available? So you are getting all your calendars and contacts?

Just found out you can setup gmail with activesync too.. just did .. looks like it works great.
