Root [US Cellular] New to rooting need help plz link

I purchased the galaxy note 2 threw private sale the carrier is us cellular I am very new to this can any OK anyone link a guide to aid me in this si can use my phone on a different carrier

US Cellular is CDMA. You might be able to get it flashed to use on Verizon or Sprint if you have a donor phone (one that doesn't work, but that you can get certain numbers from.) It won't work on a GSM carrier (AT&T or TMobile) because the technology is totally different.

A better option would be to sell the phone and buy one on the carrier that gives you coverage where you need it, which is the first thing you do when choosing a carrier. (The best phone in the world is useless if you don't have a signal.)
