Hi guy's, I just have a quick question. I rooted my phone yesterday and to be honest, I really don't know what to do now. I understand what rooting means and what it does, I just don't know where to go from here. I'm pretty sure this has been asked many times, so if no one wants to answer, a link to another thread with this answered already would be appreciated.

U can leave it as is,or u can start looking for a nice ROM of ur choice to flash along with a custom Kernel.

Thanks for the answer, but to be honest I don't even know what those do. Is there a thread that might help me get a better understanding on all this? Also can I delete the files on my SD card that I used to root, or would that mess it up? You know the Unrevoked, 2.2 Root zip, PC3GIMG, etc.

Definitely delete the PC36IMG.zip from your phone's root(memory card). This way when you learn to flash ROMS it doesn't flash that file asking you to update all of the time. Have you downloaded a wireless tether app for your phone yet? This will enable to use your phone as a wireless hotspot (this is what Sprint wants to charge us $30 a month for) Here is the link for the download:

    wireless_tether_2_0_5-pre8.apk - android-wifi-tether - Wireless Tether for Root Users 2.0.5-pre8 *** EXPERIMENTAL *** - Project Hosting on Google Code

Good Luck and have fun with your phone!!

Thanks so much man! I was looking for that mainly.
So it is fine to delete all things used to root off of my SD card? Also can I delete package installers I put on there (like the SetCPU one I just put on), after I install the app?

Most of the things you bring over to your phone are either APK files or .ZIP, those you can delete because once your phone reads it and install the program or ROMS, its done. Just DO NOT DELETE ANY FOLDERS!!! When I rooted my phone, it brought over the PC36IMG.zip, Unrevoked-forever.zip & 2.2-root.zip, I deleted all 3 items from my sdcard. But I did however, saved it to my laptop in a folder called 2.2 rooting just in case I need it to do someone else's phone and don't have to download everything again.

Alright thanks man. Now I'm just trying to figure out what these weird little things on the root of my SD card are, like busybox, mtd-eng.img, and soff.log. I'm figuring I can delete those.

I would leave those 3 items intact.
