Has anyone applied the update that was released Dec 23rd from Viewsonic ?

Before I buy this bad boy, I want to know that this update worked and cleared up the Tap Tap issue.

The latest update installs a more traditional looking UI. The tap n tap interface is still available as a dashboard if the user chooses to use it. Its still not as great as the custom roms that are available but its a lot better than it was before.

+1! The improvement is night and day over the Tan-n-tap UI prior to the release.
