Newbie and about to switch carriers

Hi, I'm a relative Android newbie. I'm currently with Sprint and have the original HTC Touch Diamond running a Windows 6.5 ROM with XANDROID 2.2 loaded as well. Due to the phone specs and battery life my Android use is limited, but I like what I've seen so far and plan on switching to a new Android device when my contract is up in March. I've really got my eye on the HTC Thunderbolt, especially since I get a nice corporate discount with Verizon.
