Finally broke down and entered the world of "smart phones" after my Razr gave up the ghost. Read a bunch and the droid was the way to go for me due to my dislike of Steve J and his edicts (flash) and MS continued bloated programs. Ended up with a Samsung Captivate as I liked the screen, the feel and the speed.
Overall I am happy with my choice. The speed is amazing, the app selection is incredible and the fellow users are helpful. My biggest dislike is the manner in which you "wake" the phone.
Wish there was a terms guide somewhere to define buzzwords used by you more advanced users. I do however appreciate all the work many folks on here have done in creating step by step guides to assist in freeing my phone from bloatware and opening capabilities. Thanks for all the hard work!
