Help Newspaper sub thinks it's 9 days ago

When my NC was running stock 1.2, I had a subscription to the Seattle Times that worked perfectly. About a week ago, I took the plunge and rooted to CM7. Everything works beautifully, with one exception -- the Seattle Times is 9 days out of date. Every day, when I download the paper, I get the edition from 9 days ago. I've tried

• checking the date stored in the NC; it's correct
• uninstalling and re-installing the B&N reader app
• unsubscribing and re-subscribing to the Seattle Times
• both of those things immediately, and with a 24-hour wait between uninstall/reinstall and unsub/resub.

None of those have fixed the problem. Any suggestions?
