Nexus One by Google Powered by Android 2.1 | LetsTalk.com
The networks specs are nice, Verizon, Sprint and AT&T. To bad I just switch to T-Mobile and the wife would kill me if I switched again so soon...
Expandable microSD (up to 32MB) OOPS! lol
I'm assuming we'll be getting hands on for most, soon as they start carrying this. Also I saw a commercial the other day boasting Wal-Mart starting to carry Verizon, Sprint, Att and T-mobile phones in most of there stores. Didn't catch a date though...
Not really an oops if they start carrying it after the first 32gb cards are made available in Feb.
Otherwise it might mean the Verizon version of the phone will be a true world phone.
I didn't see the mistake either til I re-read... says 'MB' not gigs
Yes OOPS! "MB" not "GB"
so is this version going to support AT&T 3G?
So is it true that within the first 30 days of purchase I can still send mine back to Google? I paid full price. I want to send mine back and buy it from Walmart. I KNOW it's going to be cheaper.
If you read Google's purchase agreement when you bought the phone, it is 30 days in California and 14 everywhere else.
so if this can run on AT&T 3G, i want to know when Wal Mart will start selling it and for how much; i just got the N1 on Saturday and would like to get the one that'll work on ATT 3G and sell this one;
the nexus in not being sold at walmart. the site is from lets talk inc. they use the walmart name as a partner company. in other word...they pay walmart to use their name. the phone in no way is bought through walmart and odds are it will be more expensive then cheaper. don't say you KNOW it's going to be cheaper when truth is you (and I) have no idea. but again just remember, THIS IS NOT WALMART SELLING THE PHONE IT IS LETSTALK INC.
notice the site is not walmart.com
this is similar to the thing that happend with circuit city. after they went under a web site started using their name, logos, etc. they got them from circuit city. people thought it was the same company and it was not. it was a partnered up web site. prices were higher then the original company.
this stuff happens all the time.
So you "Know" for a fact that Walmart is not going to be selling this phone. I did in fact watch a commercial boasting the sales of Cellular Devices at most Walmart locations. Guess we won't actually "Know" for a fact until it happens eh?
Please don't say you "Know" something unless you do. Its quite rude lol
The Walmart stores in our area offer cell phones. The droid is offered there.
Unless Google changes their business model and starts putting phones in-store I doubt we will see the Nexus One at a Walmart store.
dude you have issues. where in the world did i ever say i know for a fact walmart will not be selling these phones.
i do know for a fact that this is not walmart selling the phone.
did i ever say "not going to be?"
as a matter of fact i said "truth is you (and I) have no idea"
i did include myself in this statement.
do not quote someone unless you know what you are quoting. maybe you should read what i said again. and read s l o w l y. because it seems like you are missing somethings or just adding things that suit your own purpose.
i still contend that you and i have no idea about what is going to happen with anything that has to do with walmart and the nexus.
and i must add now that i dont think you know anything in general. please get your facts straight before you start writing and mis quoting people. DA.
yup...like the afine1 said - its a letstalk.com domain, just using walmart to promote some...doubt youll be able to buy it in store, nevermind for less than from google
$99 unlocked = buy buy buy!!
somone just posted a link to a rumor about this. BUT, there is also a page where walmart is denying this, said it was an error and is asking for the page to be removed by letstalk inc.
yeah because it was released to early probably.. always happens..
That could be possible, but you need to know that there are two sides to this story.
Why don't you post the link and share it with everyone?
Here it is:
Walmart Denies Selling AT&T/Verizon Nexus One - Gearlog
Google Nixes Wal-Mart Nexus One Sales - PC World
hope this helps
i didn't post the link because every time i went there it froze up my computer.
I find it hard to believe this is credible. Supposedly one of the big deals about the N1 was the online store as a new purchase paradigm.
So if you're Google,a nd pushing online, unlocked sales using Google checkout - why put them into WalMart? Seem counterproductive to the stated goal to me.
Well that is why I said "I know" it's going to be cheaper. I thought it was going to be sold by Walmart. Do not tell me what I can and can't say, though... ever... again... in your life. Calm down.
