    Hi,
I'm looking to purchase a Nexus One and I heard rumors that even though Google stopped selling it online to the general public, that it is still possible to purchase it from Google as a registered Android Developer.
I'm not currently registered, so can anyone who is check this out for me?
    Thanks.

Check it out on ebay first and so on... no need to register as a developer unless you seriously mean to start coding apps. Registration as a dev is how much ? 100$ .. don't remember.

registration is only $25. I don't mind spending the extra $25 if it means getting the phone from Google and reducing the risk of ebay/craigslist.

do you know if its possible?

"The Nexus One developer phone is not available yet, but it should be ready in the near future. I'll post an update in this section of the forum when I have an update."

This is from a google employee on 24th July.

The post on the Android help forum suggested it would be available in a week or two...any ideas as to an update on this?

Need a new N1 for development.

I've got no idea... they said that we will be notified. This is kinda a big deal for google .. adding a AD3 phone so there will be news about it.
