Help Nexus one Noob

Hey Guys,

I was an avid iphone user however I have seen the light and it feels good to be on this side.

Could all of you Android users out there help me out here.

I have a macbook and a Nexus one. Just bought the N1 today and it is rooted and has a Custom ROM + Cyanogen on it.

Could someone tell me the most efficient way of syncing my info on my macbook to the nexus one? Something as simple ( I hope) as the iphone to itunes.

So basically I need to sync: Contacts list, Music, Videos, Photos etc. from itunes to my N1.

Preferably free methods

1. Is there a way to have the gmail app push emails i get from my gmail inbox to my android gmail app instantly without any delay?

Hey, nice of you to come to this side! lol

Not too sure about the syncing of your stuff, as I'm not rooted, but the Gmail app should automatically push new email to you and notify you. It does for me. Make sure to check the settings in the app itself.
