Accessories Nice case till otterbox makes one

Just ordered one of these. I have already dropped my eris a couple of times and almost a few more. I'll try and give a what I think and upload pics when I receive it. Is there anything that you can hook a lanyard to?

Does this come in 2 halves that snap together?

Is the aluminum coated with anything to rdeuce slippage?

Yeah i received it yesterday. It looks nice and fits in it real nicely, but two major issues. 1. the case sticks above the screen and makes it hard to press any of the outside letters on the keyboard and can't slide the notification bar down. 2. it actually reduces my signal strength by two bars. Normally have four at home, but only two when in the case. Oh well, you win some you lose some.

Is there anything that you can hook a lanyard to?

There's a small hole on the left hand bottom of the phone. To put a lanyard on the phone, you have to take the back off, slip the loop through that hole and place it over a small hook inside the phone and then snap the back on. If you're going to use a case, you have to thread it through the case first.
