no data on my mini proSupport

    i just bought xperia mini pro and I am unable to save the APN on my phone hence use the 2g or 3g data network. I am using Airtel and even Airtel people tried to help with different settings but none can be saved on my device either manually or automatically..
    Please address this SERIOUS ISSUE with xperia mini pro and kindly give me solution.

    This sounds as though you may have a slight software issue with the device, try performing a Factory Data Reset on the handset to resolve the issue.

    Menu > Settings > Privacy > Factory Data Reset ( note: this will remove all data from the handset but will not touch a SIM card or memory card.)

    thanks jake. i found the solution.
    1) i have to DISABLE the "SIM PIN LOCK" from the security settings and RESTART the phone. Once this is done only than the APN can be saved in the phone.
    Someone said it is due to when the SIM-CARD is old. New sim-cards dont have this issue.
