No LED indicator for missed calls and messages?

I found an app called Missed Call that was supposed to give you a remider if you missed a call or txt but it actually messed up the originating notification of a txt message. Maybe you can get it to work right. I didn't feel like messing with it and un-installed it.

I like this feature instead of the charging led at night. My wife was complaining that her INC would flash during the night when she received a text, email, any real notificaiton. I helped her the best I could by turning the phone over.

I've been using that for a while now and I've forgotten all about it; it's one of those apps that just seems like it should have been a feature of the device.

I like it very much (configurable colors for sms, emails, etc).

The whole screen will be black, and there will be a small square blinking and moving around the screen. You can use different icons/colors for SMS, email, missed calls, etc. If you have more than one email address on your phone, you can even set a different color for each address.

There is not a widget on any of the screens, per se. Although it says it is recommended to add the homescreen widget so you can see the status of it.

No on-screen widget, as beenz says. Just an app icon in the drawer for access to the configuration menu.

It's a dream app for Fascinate users who need that notification for missed sms, calls, emails, etc.

i have the app installed and went through all the settings and it is not working.... i am not sure what i am doing wrong.... for instance I just got an email and no led flashing... hummmmm....

Did you restart your phone? You have to restart it after you first install

Yep. I have that checked. The delay is like 5 seconds. Hopefully that changes.

Hmmm. I have it checked and sent myself a test message. It's been about 8 minutes and hasn't turned on yet.

I have both of these running and it works for me. Did you turn it on, lol?

Nope... i have:
toggle notifications:, SMS, Missed call,email
used icon: none selected
right dots placement: selected
disable touch screen: selected
Auto-start: selected
everything else is unselected.....

Interesting. I have the same settings, with the exception of email being checked. Maybe try another restart? Or uninstall and reinstall?

Try disabling WidgetLocker and see if it works.

After playing with it a little more, NoLED works intermittently for me

NoLED Not working here other than text messages. Samsung Fascinate.

I too was very disappointed when upgrading to the fascniate (former BB curve) that there was no LED indicator. I downloaded NoLED and it is ok. It serves it's purpose, but i think it could be better. Hope someone comes out w/ a new one...

Do you people not research something before you buy it? Seems like everyone should have known that there was no led.
