    Seriously?

I keep hearing that last.fm is better than Pandora, so I'm trying it out. But no pause button? Is this only for people who live in caves?

Last.fm is basically personalized radio. You can't pause radio, you can't pause last.fm

Pandora is basically personalized radio. You can pause Pandora.

That's a cop-out reason. 10 years ago, you couldn't pause TV, but now everyone has a DVR. There are radios out there that let you pause live radio. If that's really their reason, then they're going to get passed up by the competition.

If I'm not mistaken Last.fm does not have any limits like how Pandora does.

Different licensing. Pandora allows you to pause, but not to skip more than a certain amount of songs pet time unit. OTOH, Last can't pause but you can skip all day long if you like.

    Them's the breaks.

That makes me sad. So if I'm rocking out to some last.fm and someone walks into my office during a great song, I'm hosed. Bummer.

    Thanks for the info, though.

Yup. Same thing if there's a hiccup in the connection -- next song.

Musicovery has a pause button ... but it's flash based.
