Hi, I am using the zune tv-out cable as recommended but I am unable to get the tv-out function to work.

I used another cable from an old video camera and the same result. I tried swapping the cables for the video but still no video :(.

I get audio but no video. I have also tried to press the 3.5mm cable in as hard as I could into the vibrant but with no results :(.

My vibrant is rooted and has the lag fix on it, could this possibly cause the tv-out function to not work??

    Any help will be appreciated!

make sure your tv is on video, or the proper setting.
make sure the phone is set to tv out
play around with the colored rca cables, the colors may be switched around as some have reported.

    try a different tv

    hope it works

I know which cables you're talking about. They do work.

IT could be that the cables are just faulty or it could be something in your settings.

Go into the Setting the Settings - Sound And Display - Tv out - and try to change Tv System to PAL or NTSC.

and make sure TV out is check marked.

    Post back your results.

Edit: Just to know, you're using these cables right?

A thread mentioned that the rubber on the plug might be getting in the way of pushing the plug all the way in so I tried cutting it a little :p.
