    Yeah. I would not be happy if I were a g2 owner. Or I'd just be very careful not to have reboots lol.

    Well then I don't think they could even load any roms or themes or anything. They would need to reboot and then they would lose root, I am sure someone will get around it for them, well hopefully.

    It's too early to tell if this is at the same level of lockdown as Motorola's bootloader.

    Chris Soyers is pretty convinced that all they need is for HTC to release the kernel source and they will have permanent root and NAND unlock.
