Not Receiving Texts Immediately....??Support

    I would say that about 50-75% of the time, I receive texts in a timely manner. But I've noticed sometimes, that I'll send a text message, get a response text anywhere from 5-20 mins later, but the timestamp on the text says it was sent immediately or 1 minute later. Any reason why it's taking so long for texts to get to my phone? Does updating the PRL help with this? What can I do to help with this?

    Sometimes updating prl and profile will help but this issue is a network issue...and unfortunately isn't new to sprint or other carriers ....I have had people receive my text hours after send and view versa

    Long time issue with Sprint... not directly related to the Evo. I've suffered from it with all of my various Sprint phones over the years.

    Call Sprint or go online and start a Chat session with a rep. They will reset your phone and everything will be fine. Happened to me twice last week. No explanation why, Took maybe 5 minutes via online chat on sprint.com
