Not Sure of Exact Tablet Type

Not sure if it's important that I know the exact type of tablet I have. One thing is since there are sections devoted to a specific type of tablet and phone I was thinking if I should know exact type I have. I got mine from Amazon and they have AVS as the type but I don't see it listed on here. I would put the link to the amazon site that I has the tablet I have listed so experienced folks on here may know if there is a section since the tablet may be a type not listed on the amazon page so I know what specific section to look in. 1 thing not accurate is they have android 2.3 as the os. When I looked at the settings about tablet info place it says it has android version 4.0.3. I guess that listing of 2.3 was maybe when the tablet first was listed on Amazon and it's not been updated since then.

Many android 2.3 devices now run 4.0.3, there was a big roll out this year.

a link to the amazon page would be most helpful :)

If you look at the "added photo" on the Amazon listing, the one with the notes:

Under the hood of the Shenzen Lyric Pioneer F1. Also known as the AVS 7", Idolian TurboTab C8, MID machine, etc.

Thanks, though I'm not sure what all that means, even after reading it several times & making out the small print in the picture. Looks like it may be a very obscure brand so may not have a section or thread for that type.

I didn't see a specific sub forum either. You could always post in the Generic Tablet sub forum. Maybe someone else with your tablet will be in there.

    Moved thread into GTT.

I've moved the thread to the GTT forum. Hopefully we can get some good answers here. :)

I briefly opened mine up and it looks similar to the picture with some differences. The battery mine is has 2200 on it instead of the 2800. It has no silver round thing where I think the flash memory is shown as being, but mine has 2 chips there instead, I guess to the same function. & the internal storage seems to be, going by the os if I understand what it says, has a max of 3GB before the os and the 1 free full game and 1 demo game are considered.

Doubt any of that stuff is important though. Sounds like I may be the only one on this forum with this tablet. It must be a pretty obscure type of tablet.
