Help Note 2 Crashes

For the last 3 weeks my 9 month old Samsung Note 2 has been freezing up and the only way to restart it is to take the battery out and replace it. Any problems out there I have not heard about? Fixes? Thanks

Maybe someone else has a better idea, but I'd probably do a factory reset. This will wipe the device clean, so you will have re install and configure some apps. Before you do a reset, make sure you're connected to your Google account and have sync'd. Once you've done the reset and entered your Google account info, contacts and installed app (including paid) will return. Unless you specifically back up the data, you may lose your progress from any installed games. How and if you can back up game progress depends on the game.

If it's still on 4.1.1 you should update it to 4.1.2 asap. Some phones have a chip problem which manifests itself In the way you describe which is resolved by updating the os.
