Note 3 camera rotation

For some reason my camera mode explanation text is stuck in landscape mode even when I turn the camera to portrait it stays in landscape mode, I tried turning my phone off, taking sim out, toggling auto rotate on off does nothing, anybody got a fix for this besides a factory reset?

It's the text that comes up in the blue box.

I wish I could help but I don't have a 3 yet- did you install any other cam app?

Nah no other cam apps, it's the default app, I can click don't show message again but sometimes I forget what the function of the mode does, tad bit annoying.

Try restart/battery pull? I don't have that problem but on occasion have had some function or another get screwy.

It is the blue text that shows up when you change camera modes, I'm on JB 4.3. Tried resetting, pulling battery, pulling sim. It's just annoying when I change modes in portrait the text is sideways.

Sorry frvgrd. I was unable to replicate your problem on my Note 3. Try clearing the cache on your Camera and restarting. To clear the cache tap on the Settings Button then System Settings or Settings. Tap on the General tab and choose Application manager. Scroll down to Camera and tap on Clear Cache only. Do not clear data.

I looked in every forum I could find to resolve this problem and nothing fixed it. Then on a guess, I restored the Nova backup and VIOLA!!!!! Nova was doing it, I quess.
