Also +1. It would be very useful, and i want an excuse to have my xoom with me at all times, especially at professional conferences.

Which Pogo did you order. I'm finding ones made for iPad/iPhone and ones made for Android phones.

Have you received yours yet? The manufactures site is showing a different line for Android devices?

It is the same. Just ordered today. Both Android and Apple bring you to same spec page. Add them to cart, there is no difference.

So any app that converts handwriting to text? I will purchase a Stylus once I find an app like this.

So I looked in the general app forum, and someone suggested MaplePaint. I think it's my favorite so far- free, not laggy, and pretty accurate writing, even with just my finger. I suggest giving this one a try.

Great program, problem with capacitive is that you can't rest your hand on the screen.

Get some of those green felt sticky things for putting ash trays on your wood coffee table. Stick them to your palm.

Huh, that is different! If anyone gets one I'm curious how it works, or if it's more accurate than the other tips (seems like it might be).

I am trying to find a program that i can use to work out problems in my calculus classes, and i seem to be having trouble. I picked up the tablet today so i could stop having to use so much paper for my class and maybe be able to save my work easier.

What i need is a whiteboard app that can either scroll or page... like i would be doing on paper. i have been through most of the apps on the market when i search whiteboard and notepaper doesn't seem to bring up any results. anyone have any ideas of things that could help?

even better would be a program that could translate the math i write into typed math. are there any handwriting recognition programs out there that would actually work for writing formulas?

Will one of these Apps work with PDF files ? . For example, I want to download a PDF file and use a marker to highlight specific lines or sections.

    Thanks

Adobe PDF app should do that.

That's where I'm confused I can't find any documentation explaining how this feature is implemented by Adobe.

For PDF you may want to look at repligo reader. It may be what you're looking for

That MaplePaint program works great for what i need it for. it is giving me a few issues, such as messing up save files when they have lots of work in them or multiple pages, but for something to use in class to show my teacher the work, it will be perfect. once i figure out the save issue, it will be even better for my homework. what happened to me is that all of my lines got jumbled up into the corner after i saved and reopened... not ideal for trying to save and come back later, but still has it's uses.

    Thank you so much.
