Ideally I'm after a note/memo app that has a nice looking widget, one where you can just select the widget and start typing... even something that just places a 'transparent' text box on your home screen would be great...

Can anyone recommend something like ColorNote but that looks a bit better!?

[Maybe the HTC Notes widget does this but I'm using LauncherPro so cannot utilise HTC widgets...]

I use "Note Everything". Great app, and you can have a folder link on your home screen that will take you straight to your saved notes.

I use ColorNote. Is good and slick. You can even post the single notes as a widget on your screen. You just have to click on them and it shows you what you have written.

    Re: Note Everything

I'd really prefer an app like ColorNote that actually has a widget/sits on the homescreen

    Re: ColorNote

Can you type straight on to the note? Or you have to click on the sticky, open up the ntoe and then type..?

Am surprised nobody else wants a similar widget.

Perhaps ColorNote is good enough for you guys...

I use ColorNote too and love it. You can give it a title and that is what you see on your screen, you can then tap on the note and it opens up to let you edit it, you don't even have to save it just go straight back to your homescreen and it saves it automatically.

Colour note is cool, it even has reminder alarms which I find really useful.

The HTC Widget is rubbish anyway, you can't edit notes after they've been typed!
