    Hi there,

I've been loving my HTC Desire since the day I got it, but have one question about an annoying little thing that the phone does. Basically, whenever I get any notification like an email or text, the notification sound goes off as it should. However, if I decide not to look at the email or text, the sound will go off every minute until I read the message. Do any of you guys know if there is a way to stop this?

    Thanks for any help.

Oh sorry, not stocks (like money). I'm still not sure exactly what you mean by stock apps, but I do use the mail and message app.

Nope. I got the phone 14 days ago. The only apps I put on are:

    Abduction (game)
    Barcode Generator
    Barcode Scanner
    BoothDroid
Find it Family Guy and Simpsons
    Foursquare
    Fring
    Google Goggles
    MysteryGuitarMan

BTW thanks for all your help so far.

Turned it on and off many times. Sometimes removing the battery.

Soft reset in phones is doing a battery pull.

Which is odd because in the IT world a soft reset is rebooting the computer using software (eg start>shutdown in windows)

A Hard reset in phones is a factory reset. You DONT need to do this for this problem

A Hard reset in IT is removing the power source. Physically shutting down

It should be the same for phones but its not.
