Help notification ringtone

okay.. i had a friend send me a ringtone.. i want to make it my text ringtone.. cept i can't figure out how the hell to set it for that.. i downloaded ringdroid and saved mms.. i can't do it.. i got it to actually say its there but when i click on it to save it.. it does that annoying ring idk what one.. but def not wat my friend sent me.. can anyone help ?

Sounds like it's an unsupported file type. Can you open it up in Ringdroid?

Should be saved on your SD card under the notifications folder.
