Nuance Voice Control Android 2.3.3 Not Adapting

I have a LG Shine Plus which has recently been updated to Android 2.3.3. When trying to adapt NVC the app just closes and takes me back to my main screen before I can even say the first training sentence. This app worked fine on Android 2.1 and was very useful in the car as a hands free dialer because it did not require an internet connection in order to use it.

I would like to hear from anyone who is running NVC on an Android 2.3.3 system as to what you had to do in order to get adaptation to work properly. My fellow LG Shine Plus forum members have not been able to provide a solution to this problem.

If you could post a properly working version APK file here it would be greatly appreciated.
