I need someone who has the htc desire on o2 pay as you go. I rooted and used the deviliian rom and my mobile web settings are messed up everytime I connect it says incorrect settings. Can anyone list what their settings here? All you need to do is go to networks in settings, mobile networks, APN and then click on the what is set and it will show the details. Much appreciated thanks.

Meh, I got it to work. The o2 website only has settings for pay monthly desires and dont have pay and go instructions. You have to change it to payandgo or something.

When I put a pay&go Sim in my Desire it popped up and asked me what sim card I had.

O2 Pay & Go, O2 Postpay or Tesco Mobile. I just pressed the one that matched my sim and it got me the setting automatically. I've taken it out and put it back in and it asked me every time.

the above settings never worked for me on my HTC Hero(GSM), aka HTC G2 Touch.

After much searching, calls to O2, then eventually a visit to 1 of their stores, i got these settings that worked. Only 1 set of settings is needed, not 2 like most suggest. It covers both mobile web and MMS

    Name: O2 PrePay Web/MMS
    APN: payandgo.o2.co.uk
    Proxy: <Not Set>
    Port: <Not Set>
    Username: payandgo
    Password: password
    Server: <Not set>
MMSC: As posted by Wombat above, board rules wont let me post urls in my 1st post
    MMS Proxy: 82.132.254.1
    MMS port: 8080
    MCC: 234
    MNC: 10
    Auth Type: <Not Set>
    APN protocol: IPv4

I registered here just to post this as its 1 of the 1st results on google when searching things like: O2 pay and go MMS HTC Hero. Since O2 doesn't support the phone, it's been a real pain to find.
