Odd droid issue

I'm on 2.2 bugless beast .4 right now.

Tonight I was transfering a movie to my phone via usb. Long story short, I needed to cancel the transfer in the middle and remove my phone. Now my phone is freezing like mad, and I absolutely can't connect to my computer (not to mention that freezes it completely.)

Removing the SD card seems to help, but not much. Anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this?

oddly enough a complete factory reset made it possible to mount the SD card, but a nandroid backup to a week ago wouldn't. WTF.
