Official eBay Android App: Buy, Sell, Watch... from your phone

This app allows you to browse and purchase items from eBay quickly and more efficiently than using the browser version.

This application is available for free from the Android Market.

The application allows you to do many of the things that you can do on your pc on your phone without the need of going into your phones web browser and then slowly looking for what you want.

The app is there to basically give your phone a fast way of using eBay on your phone, and generally it does a good job, as it gives practically all the features that you need from ?watching? your items to placing bids and buying them. This is all done using your current eBay account which you can sign in with on your phone. Though it is the Mobile version you can still accurately search for what you want, as there is the option to narrow your search by going through numerous categories which doesn?t take long to go through.

There is also a couple of other little features such as the ?deals? button on the homepage which will take you to a list of cheap stuff that you probably don?t even want, and there is also the option if you have installed the google app, is that you can search for items using voice search.

Overall this application works fine and it does have most of the features that the main site does, although as one example it is missing the function to edit your postings. One other things is that the actual visual design and ?looks? of the app are not really very pretty, though I suppose they get the job done. Like most mobile app versions 0f popular sites this one also fails at being as good as the actual site itself. Though don?t let that put you off if you love eBay then this app is something that you need.
    I rate this 4.5 out of 5

But you can't add an item for sale from this app. Without that ability it seems at best only half baked.
