It's the "F1 2010 Timing App". It is from the developer of the iphone app.

    Developer's website:
    Soft Pauer Sporting Solutions

Pfft, thanks but no thanks. I'm quite happy with F1Android by Roberto Calvo and Jose Gato.

I'm going to give it a go this weekend, just get a refund if it's crap. I am quite interested in seeing how well the gps car track positions work.

F1Android is excellent for a free app but the timings are horribly delayed.

I've got this app and I was at Silverstone the weekend testing it out. It is very good! The map is brilliant and is very accurate, I could see cars coming around the track and I knew exactly when they was about to reach the corner I was on. You can also zoom into particular drivers and follow them around the track :)
The live timing is also excellent but the map is what makes it stand out. My mate also downloaded it and he used to have it on his iPhone, he said the Android version was much better.

I too was at silverstone, Orange 3g was completely overloaded but this app worked a treat gprs/edge, very impressed. F1android has too much of a delay if you are an F1 ultra-geek.

Developer's page says it's only available for the Nexus One and Moto Milestone. Too bad.

If you read the faq page it says Desire too. I've been using it on my desire and it works great.

I'd be surprised if it didn't work on any 2.1 phone. The website is probably a little out of date.

Has anyone tried using the Live Timing feature on f1.com in their phone's browser? Does it work?

No it doesn't, you need a java plugin. I've tried it on 2.1 and 2.2.
