Tips Official HTC Screen Calibration .apk

    Here is the G2's screen calibration .apk that HTC is distributing with the installed OS. HTCScreencalibration.apk download

    Works fine on my Inc SKyRaider3.0 RC3 but I imagine it will work fine on any rom.

    I gave it a shot. Not sure what difference it made. But none the less nice find.

    What does it calibrate? Touch? color?

    I would LOVE a color calibration app. don't like how over saturated the colors are.

    There's one built into CM6, there's an app that goes with it that lets you edit the individual RGB values. It was so nice to get rid of the slight blue tint my screen has. I don't think it works with Sense ROM's though. :(

    This only calibrates the screen for touch input all around the screen. Not sure if it just does the same thing as keyboard calibration but I doubt it, or why would they have made it. This calibrates the whole screen to your style not just when the keyboard is up.
