I like you G, we seem to be on the same page with our interests, and research!

I saw the same thing. My only concern is that the "HTC Nexus" or whatever it will be called, will be like a 6" beast lol. Phones are not getting smaller, they are getting larger .. and it all begins with the Nexus setting the pace, typically i think

    Now, I've seen it all...
    The Next unofficial nexus phone...
    The nexus One X ... 4+1...
    OMG...
Stock Android 4.0 on a 4+1 core phone made by hTC...

    Oh, it will.

The drooling was on ATT and Tmobile customers lips when we got the GNex. It's a wicked cycle.
    Beware the grass-is-always-greeneritis

Im pretty pissed off that we are not getting HTC One X. The specs mimic those in my Transformer Prime.

When i heard i could have those specs in a handheld device I began salivating and foaming at my mouth, my hands and limbs began to uncontrollably shiver and shake. My teeth were chattering and i was speaking in tongues like something out of a horror movie.

Then i saw the word "ATT" and i fainted.

I have not done any research since then.

Then I guess this will kill you...

    http://phandroid.com/2012/02/29/and...h-stock-android-4-0-ice-cream-sandwich-rumor/

*sorry I don't want to harm you in any way ;)*

Looks like we will have to wait for the Droid fighter/Dinc3/Fireball...
It might be shown at CTIA in May.

The at&t version is being released without the 4+1 core due to network compatibility issues. It will have the dual core 1.5 s4 snapdragon
Tmobile on the other hand will likely get (rumor) the full on Tegra 3 4+1 core on their HSPA+ network running stock Android 4.0!!!

Right now its all about the One series, to be certain there is something cooking up for Verizon. Just not from the One series. As long as it has specs like the One X I'll be in line.

Yes Steve7320, the wound is wide open, feel free to take the cap off the salt shaker and dump it all right on in there!!

Sense is too bloated? I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove since 3.5. (Go ahead and bash me for being a fanboy. I'll own it.)

Edit: No removable battery or SD slot on the HTC One?? Bad, bad, bad times.

    Non-removable batteries make me nervous.

I'm with you on Sense 3.5. I have no regrets loading a Sense 3.5 ROM.

Non-removable batteries allow for slimmer phones with longer battery life, so it's a trade-off. Haven't completely decided which side of that fence I am on, however.

That wasn't my intent lol I'm hoping we get something along the lines of an Incredible X. Just wishful thinking

Im with you on the Sense 3.5. While im all about being anti-everything, Sense is actually nice and smooth and improves my experience.

WOW this is first im hearing of the non removable battery. That is a BIG deal for me!! Im a power user and a power flasher ... too many issues happen to not have things backed up on SD. CRAP!!! Without an SD ill be sticking to what i have, im afraid.

    Werd, TAR!

    I agree... +1

It would be cool if VZW would drop a hTC One S variant.
This variant is rumored to be the Fighter/Dinc3/Fireball
    4.3" Slcd2 (I think?) display 4G LTE world phone w/
Dual core 1.5 GHz S4 processor with LTE chip built in.
I hope it is truly a variant with user replaceable battery and Sd card...
The Dinc2 first surfaced as the Incredible S at the last MWC and we got the variant of that sooooo, we'll see... ;D

What's the big fuss about hTC not using amoled screens, I actually prefer SLCD, *Oh boy, here we go...*
I understand that certain types of screens have each individual pixel giving it's own light, is that what's called pentile? Some use more battery showing the color white...

I fear as Manufacture's strive to make phones thinner we'll see more phones without removable batteries. Apple did it since day 1, then Motorola with the Razr and now HTC.

On my dinc id be in trouble without an we and a removeable battery.

And voldown + power never worked for me

How is the memory partitioned on a phone with no removable SD card?
    How exactly does that work?
What about doing nand backups and clockwork mod restore from SD?

I dont know, but it wouldnt matter to me

Scenario 1: your flashing a ROM and something goes wrong, leaving you at a never ending boot screen. You go to pull the battery but you cant since its non removeable. You read that vol-down and power should force a reboot, but it doesnt. Now what?

Scenario 2: your in the middle of rooting and something goes wrong, perma bricks the phone. So you go to take the SD Card out and put it into your new replacement phone. you would then keep all of your game saves, apps backed up, photos and videos, sms's backed up, etc etc .. but you cant, since theres no SD Card.

Both of those scenarios are more than common, and have both actually happened to me. Which is why im so hesitant to buy a phone with a removable bat or sd card.
