    Don't mean to keep bringing up a doomed thread, but sending a PM to a moderator would have been a much more appropriate course of action.

    I'll look into its deletion. But, in the future, yes a PM is much more appropriate, as it was (probably) deleted for a reason and recreating a thread about it only hurts the situation.

    Will look into it.

    The reason this thread (and the other two) were deleted was because they contained little or no useful info. This wasn't meant as a reflection on the OP, and I apologise it if was taken as such. However we're trying hard here to keep the site relevant in the face of hundreds of new posts daily, and every duplicate or derailed thread makes our job (and that of a newcomer searching for advice) that bit harder.

    As was pointed out several times, there's a sticky at the top of the forum (http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-eris/24622-eris-v2-x-when.html) dealing with the 2.x update.
