This morning I woke up to my Update.
And now back to your regularly scheduled lives.
Now I'm going to be at the edge of my seat all day at work checking my phone on a per minute basis. Look what you did! Thanks buddy!
Personally, I got tired of waiting last night and manually updated.
Strangely enough, my husband's Droid did not have the update yet - purchased at exact same time and place.
@Gdroid - Can't be long now! LOL hope you don't have any important meetings this morning or you'll be squirming the whole time.
Patience, Daniel san..
Nope, no meetings today. I'm patiently waiting for the update. I do love when my phone DROOOOOOOOOIDs during a meeting though.
Hahahaha - I still have an iPhone friend defending hers to the death. I always end the conversation with - "Yeah, but I have wallpaper." That shuts her up.
Haha - Or, show them a video on the Droid versus the iPhone. The Droid screen is fantabulous.
Congrats, I too woke up to the update. However, mine was followed my a picture of a caution sign and the driod for 10 min then a reboot with no update. such a let down
Did you go to the "updates" area of your phone, and check if the update is still there waiting to be installed?
@crudemoney - Aw, man what a letdown. Patience.
To be honest, except that things seems to flow smoother I haven't noticed much difference in normal everyday tasks. I need to have some time to fool around with it.
Yeah, I think this update is just to hold everyone over for the more important update which is rumored to arrive in January. That one should include Exchange patches, etc, I hope.
I got tired of waiting and did it manually.
not having the update work might be the icing on the cake so to speak. My droid randomly reboots about 5-7 times a day and verizon wouldn't replace it until after the update came out. Hope this is enough for them to give me a new one finally.
From my understanding the biggest fix in this was the camera bug. There is a bigger update scheduled that will have more fixes in it.
talked to motorola about the update issue. My droid crashed during the update and since motorola can't resend it they are replacing the phone.
