you can flash the modified 5.9.905 fxz file in http://androidforums.com/bionic-all-things-root/480176-how-flash-5-9-902-5-9-905-rsdlite.html

it will put you on stock 5.9.905 with all your data saved. you will loose root but that is fine because once you flash a ics leak (i sugest 6.7.232) you can use razors_edge to reroot.

once you flash the modified file follow from step 12 on in the link you posted.

razors_edge

Beautiful. I'm at 905 now.. was pretty simple. Going to flash 6.7.232.

I have a blur file i found. It's flashed in recovery right? Not rsd..?

I bypassed activation the first time around..

..how do I get it back?

EDIT: Disregard, its fine.

Can't get USB working right though, so struggling to root. :(

Several things to check:

  • Are you using the cable that came with the phone?
  • Are you using a USB 2 port and not a USB 3 port?
  • Do you have USB debugging enabled?

Yep, all good here. I think there is something wrong with the usb interface on my phone. It's always given me problems.

I finally got it to work after messing with it for a few hours. Finally.
