So I heard the Incredible has 8gb of "on-board" memory - and in all the specs of the EVO I've seen, there isn't.

Is this the case? What a bummer for me - I absolutely hate the long delays of loading up SD card data :(

There are so many rumors going on right now, as of now the EVO has 1GB and the Incredible has 512MB both have rumors of having upwards of 8GB it however isn't looking that good for the Incredible considering the manual has already been leaked and mentions 512MB.

Are we talking about Memory (RAM) or Storage (SD card)?

ROM which is the internal storage separate from the SD card, the main thing it is used for is app storage as apps can't be installed onto the SD card.
