Root on cyanogen 5.0.6

I've jus rooted my phone, and downloaded the latest cyanogen...

i ran the benchmark on linpack and got MFLOPS of only 6.9!!!!!on froyo i got 30+ is this normal??

also, are the froyo features of "update all" in the market and the new camera features coming soon?

Cyanogen ROM is based on 2.1 - there won't be any builds on 2.2 until the source code is released by Google.
The benchmarks sound correct to me - am getting 40 on Froyo.

i see that you have modaco..is modaco better than cyanogen?

i realise that cyanogen is quick but i actually reverted back to my backup cos i wanted all those new market features and the new camera controls..is modaco closer to froyo?

I normally use Cyanogen but Modaco put the Froyo ROM out first......I am actually now using
[ROM] RoDrIgUeZsTyLe@FroYo MCR R16 MOD 1.113Ghz OC/UV/AUDIO/RAM/NEO [1.7 FIX ONLINE] - xda-developers

Modaco and the above are both based on Froyo. Modaco is just pretty much the Stock ROM with a few tweaks. My current ROM is tweaked a little more.

Cyanogen will not work on Froyo until the source is released by Google.
