Help On-screen button colour problem

Hello,

Using Google Listen, the on-screen playback buttons have a greyed out look to them. I've seen this in a few other apps with similar buttons. I've attached two screenshots to show what I mean.

I had this problem with Android 2.1 running the stock ROM and continue to see it with LeeDroid Froyo.

Anyone have any idea how I can fix this? I've searched and found nothing.
