Help Open Home use on Moment

Has anyone run into any issues? I read somewhere that a guy heard that it might brick it? Any positive or negative feedback?

How do you feel it stacks up to something like Beautiful Widgets?

I downloaded it last night but was unable to install because it only support 1.6 and 2.0.

I have open home but I got it in November. No more updates/support till Samsung stops dragging ass.

i tried it. had problems with it so i uninstalled. anyways i heard the devs had to remove it from market upon htc's c&d threat.

This isn't good news. I have been using Open Home all along but had to get my phone exchanged last night due to some hardware issues it was having... so the current version, if I install it, is going to run badly? It's already paid for, grr.

I'm running the latest version of Open Home just fine. I have never had a problem with it. I wonder if others that are having trouble have something else that might be conflicting with it? One thing I do though to help prevent bricking is that I do not set Open Home as my default. So when I hit the home button or when I boot up I choose between Android Home and Open Home.

Yeah, ever since I had to exchange mine I've had OpenHome sitting in my market apps... paid for and ready to download... not gonna do it. It just acts weird when I change the orientation on the home screen. I'll get a text or something, slide out the keyboard to wake up the phone and then things get weird. The end result always has the bottom bar running up the side while the phone is in portrait mode, and I have to continuously slide the keyboard in and out to try and get the thing back to normal.

I mean, it looks awesome. But I just don't like it right now. I may give it another try later.

I'm running PandaHome, working great with the default theme. Love it! Free too!

My moment works great with open home. Its pretty quick, I had lagging issues with GDE. I tried Panda, it was fine, then I heard it could brick your phone if you used certain themes? Don't really know, went back to Open Home. I think I'm going to try dxTop for the apps categories feature and the single swipe to any screen feature.

Open Home works fine on my Moment, I have tried GDE and Panda. But I went back to Open home because I like some of the extra features that come with Open home.

I tried beautiful widgets, locked up on me while is was loading so i uninstalled it

Weather widgets - donate has worked great for me since the last update. Also, if you get the donate version, you can also install the forecast add-on...when you click on the weather, it pops up with a little animation of the current weather and a simplified 3 day forecast.
