I've just factory-rest my Desire before modding it to move all apps to the SD card. Before I did this I had elected to use the Orange / T-Mob signal share scheme. Now that I've done a factory reset, does anyone know if this will affect my ability to jump from one carrier to teh other? Will I have to set everything up again or is that "safe"?

All you need to do is enable "Data roaming" under wireless & networks > mobile networks, also enable "Roaming auto-retrieve" within the settings of the messaging app.

I've manually turned mine back to t-mobile because it was staying on Orange even when I was in a strong T-mobile area - Orange only has slow data so if anything, I was getting a worse service...

Here my T-mobile voice is random sometimes good sometimes bad, but the data connection is HSDPA I recently got onto the t-orange network the voice is incredible at 100% constant signal but the data is so slow which is diabolical.
