Root Original Animations on HTC Sense ?

Well, you see, I absolutely adore HTC Sense's widgets, they keep bringing me back from Launcher Pro. But I absolutely despise HTC's fading effect when going to the homescreen and opening an app. I like the stock 3D app drawer too, where the top and bottom are flat as if they were a cubic or trapezoid-like conveyor belt, but it's not a big deal. I just love the the widgets from HTC and the stock animations. Now, is there any way, outside of flashing a custom ROM, to get these animations? Anything at all? I'm rooted, if I have to go as far as editing or replacing system files then I'll do it.
