Root Original HTC Hero GSM nandroid..

Hi!
I am running Sense Hero 2.1 on my HTC Hero GSM (Norway), but I want to go back to the stock room when the update is released. But when I try to do that, I discover that my original nandroid backup is gone, and because of this I can't update. Sow I was wondering if anyone have this nandroid, or particular, and could send it to me or upload it? f

You know that thread and the ones listed under "Rooted ROMS". Are they the Official 2.1 ROM pre-rooted but nothing else added etc, so basically a plain rooted version of 2.1?

I don't want to lose my root but want to use just a normal 2.1 ROM with root if possible?

No, they are rooted 1.5 ROMs.

Paul (from modaco) did release a stock version of the taiwanese 2.1 release here:

It's rooted but otherwise stock.
