Help OTA Update 2.2 - failed to verify whole-file signature

I rooted my Desire a few weeks ago using unrevoked and now when I try to update to 2.2 I download the update from the phone, choose to apply it and when it reboots I get a message:

Code:
E:failed to verify whole-file signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted
Is the rooting thing a problem, or am I doing something wrong and is there a workaround?

I found a workaround:

On your Phone

  1. open Astro and go to "download" folder
  2. long-press and select "edit"
  3. press "move"
  4. press back button
  5. press "edit" from the top menu bar
  6. press "paste"
  7. long press the file
  8. press "edit", then press "rename"
  9. rename to update.zip then press OK

Installation

  1. power off phone
  2. hold "volume down" and turn on phone
  3. A screen should appear showing your phone's system searching for various files. Scroll down to
