I'm not sure how to do some of these things, I'm new to the rooting community, but here's my story:

I want to get the two OTA updates on my phone, but everytime I try to, it downloads it, restarts to install and as it is installing (after it shut down) it stops and I get the green man with a exclamation point...

then it locks up. I don't know what to do lol

any help would be appreciated =)

never run an ota on a rooted phone. look for roms/updates on xda forums. something the ota is looking for is missing, most likely removed during your root process ie a custom rom etc.

look over at xda and flash the ota you get from there.

I thought the unrevoked3 was just a simple root and not a full root, making it okay to run OTA updates?

It is full root. It was supposed to work that way.....it does not. Everyone emwho has successfully run an ota on root has lost root....sometimes fixable by running unrevoked again
