I live in Singapore which does not have any paid applications yet.

I see a lot of good applications that I want but cannot get because they do not have a free version (for example RemoteVNC Remote)

Is there any way to get paid apps in a country which does not support the paid marketplace?

I do not want to use pirated software, however if this is the only method I would not mind donating the money to the dev and then downloading a cracked file.

    Hi abhiroopb,

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. There's no official access to the Google Paid Marketplace for us nor does there seem to be any plan on Googles part to enable it for us. The only real options I've found for paid Android apps are Mobihand (Android Accessories and Android Apps - OnlyAndroid.com Store), SlideME (SlideME | Android Community and Application Marketplace) or Handango (Mobile Apps and Games for Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Android, Symbian, and Palm | Handango).

I'd advise you to contact the devs of any software that you like to at least make it known to them that there is a market for their software beyond the the Google Marketplace.

    Best Regards

You can install Market Enabler, or get hold of a spent SIM card from an "enabled" country and boot on that but use wifi to access the Market.

    Or so I'm told.
